KUALA LUMPUR: CTOS (Credit Tip Off Service) does not blacklist anyone, but is an archive of public records and does not make decisions or recommendations on who should and should not be provided with credit facilities.
CTOS Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Chung Tze Keong said the service, established 17 years ago, is an electronic archive of information in the public domain, mainly gathered from the Companies Commission of Malaysia, the Insolvency Department, government gazettes and newspapers to allow clients to access information about their customers.
